Listen up! (Missy on the air.)
The lean, mean fighting machine that is the New Hip can stop on a dime, leap tall buildings, and smell out pop tarts from twenty paces. That’s why we’re able to get the word to you - moments after we found out ourselves - that Missy is on the radio this afternoon AND tomorrow and you can catch every word.
This afternoon she’s on WRVU in Nashville (91.1 or wrvu.org to listen online) between 4:30 and 4:55 central, talking to Cathy Zebron about how the band sound is taking off, and how cranked she is to be back at the Basement tonight, and her anticipation ramping up about driving over Monteagle* in a snowstorm tomorrow.
Tomorrow she’s on WUTC in Chattanooga (88.1 or wutc.org to listen online), talking with Richard Winham about the show at the Barking Legs Theater tomorrow night, and whether she prefers, based on experience, slaloming down Monteagle* on skis or in a Ford Econoline. She’ll be on 3:30ish ET.

*If you’ve never driven from Nashville to Chattanooga, it’s pretty much a cakewalk. All except for this big bump at Monteagle, complete with steep grades and emergency ramps full of sand for runaway trucks.
